"Shawny"

Le’Shaun Surya-Marie Dalhouse “AKA: Shawny, Surya or Dollhouse” is poised to take the entertainment industry by storm. Still in High School and already the makings of a beautiful young woman. Yet her looks are not her greatest attribute, Le’Shaun can flat out sing and is also an accomplished song writer.

Born May 30th, in the Kingston, Jamaica, where she resided until the age of 10 when she relocated to The Bronx, NYC where she currently lives with her mother Opal and her younger sisters. She also has a brother who still resides in Jamaica.

Le’Shaun’s musical experience began at the age of 9. She was recognized for her amazing talents and was selected for association with the prestigious “Ashie” organization for talented youth in Jamaica. She wrote her first full length song at the age of 10 and recorded her first song at the age of 12. Since then, she has written 5 additional songs and has recorded two of them. Most notably selected works based on Romeo & Juliet and Sojourner Truth which were featured both at her school and the Friday Café.

Le’Shaun currently attends Fordham High School where she excels in a number of areas, Singing, Cheerleading, Swimming, and Ballet, to name a few.

Le’Shaun recently signed with HyDra Management Services and is currently writing songs and rehearsing for her first full length CD recording.

When not writing songs or singing, Le’Shaun spends her time sharpening her skills at Dance, Gymnastics, Art and Drama. Her goal is to become a multi disciplined star and share her talents with the world!
