" Scintific" or "Benny Blanco”

Born September 30th, in the Bronx, NY. Relocated to Rockland County at age 13. Blanco currently resides in Westchester County, NY. Graduated Spring Valley High School, and attended Virginia State University. Blano is currently employed in the Medical Field and will be returning to college in the Fall of 2008.

Blanco was introduced to music at the age of 6 years old by his mother Elvedge Maderline Brown who was a huge fan of 1970’s R&B, Funk and Soul.

Scintific was raised on music by artists such as the Isley Brothers, Parliament/Funkadelic, Blue Magic, The Dells, Black Ivory, The Last Poets, The Delfonics, The Chilites, etc. Jared’s interest in Hip Hop stems from his days of living in Gun Hill Projects, Bronx, NY.
Blanco officially became a Hip Hop Artist in 1999 when he signed with Onyx Management Services as a member of Tha Council.

Blanco co authored all of the lyrics on Tha Council’s first two projects “The Bronx is Back” and Gutta’s Revenge”. As a member of Tha Council he can be heard on Promo Radio NYC’s “Best of the Unsigned Artist Volume 2 CD. As a member of Costa Nostra he has performed at NYC’s Apollo Theater. He has performed at Babalu’s, The China Club, The Copacabana, The Black Theater of Harlem, Club NY, TNY and many others. He is also featured in the videos for Summers In The BX, Ready 2 Slide, and No One.

He is currently attempting to become involved in music production. His goals are to acquire a label deal which will allow him to record and showcase his lyrical skills and eventually become a music producer and engineer.
